First Post: Choosing a Book to Read!

To choose a book, to choose a book.

This is also my first post. And since my english teacher gave the impression that she wanted this to be personal, and our experiences with the book, I'll do just that.

Who knows what insane Pandora's box we've just opened? I feel like Indiana Jones.

So the Book options are as follows:
Slaughter House 5 (interesting choice but I've read it 3 times already)
Oliver Twist (I didn't know this was a 5th grade reading class)
A Prayer for Owen Meany (seemed decent until it was all about keeping faith in god)
some other ones that were basically just civil rights movement books. not really my thing
and finally The Importance of Being Ernest (obviously my final choice since the other books for some reason or another just don't cut it).

So I'm in for a humorous social commentary than? Like Chekov, but actually funny.
